Pine essential oil smells like a hike through the woods. It’s beyond relaxing and it does wonders to blocked sinuses.

Pine has a warming effect on the joints, and it helps unblock sinuses and stuffy noses. It should be your staple during the winter months. Personally, we love its woody smell and love to place a few drops in the shower cabin or a bath for that ultimate forest experience.

Eases breathing

Pine essential oil has decongesting and antiviral properties. It helps protect against viruses and clear catarrh. Some swear by it helping with hay fever.

Acts as a painkiller

Pine is a very warming oil, it has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties that soothe muscular pains, aches and sore joints. It can be applied locally, however make sure you dilute it in a carrier oil. ( olive oil will work, avoid almond oil, as it’s production incredibly harmful to the planet)

Home spa

We love to use all essential oils daily, especially in the shower for that luxurious home spa.

Place a few drops of the essential oil in your shower cabin ( we tend to spray the walls) and then run a nice shower. The steam and the oil will mix, providing the most invigorating, spiritual experience. You will enjoy the benefits by inhaling the aromatic steam. Chemicals in the scent can trigger  physiological responses and effect your mental state, and therefore work holistically on mind, body, and spirit. They bring balance, healing and beautiful sense of wellbeing.

How to use it:

Daily wellbeing ritual / shower

Place about 5 drops in your shower cabin or a bath. Enjoy your shower and breath in the steam.

The steam will contain bits of oil, and by creating it in, you will holistically treat your mind, body, and spirit; bring balance, healing and beautiful sense of wellbeing.

Face + body scrub

Mix 100ml of oil ( olive oil is really nice) and about 7-10 drops of pine essential oil with a spoon of honey, a squirt of lemon juice and enough of sugar to make a smooth, nice paste. Use it immediately. We recommend using a scrub once a week when you shower. Massage it into your face and body, rinse off.

If your face is very sensitive, you may want to invest in very fine sugar.
